Fees & Funding

From September 2018 our fees will be £22.20 per session.  However these are reviewed termly.  Sessions are 3 hours long.  The term after a child's 3rd birthday, they are entitled to claim up to 15 hours of free childcare.  This can be split between different settings.

FEET Funding

Barnett Wood Pre-School is happy to accept children who are eligible for FEET funding (Free Early Education for Two year olds).  For more information about FEET funding please click here.

Universal and +15 Hours Funding

In September 2017 the government introduced funding for up to 30 hours of free childcare for working parents.  Please click here for further information about eligibility criteria and how to access this funding.

Whilst Barnett Wood Pre-School is keen to offer additional childcare for those who meet the criteria, we are also equally aware of the demand for childcare places in this area and are keen to continue to provide childcare for as many children as possible.  There is therefore limited scope for us to increase our provision of childcare for children over the age of 3.

With this in mind, from September 2018 we will offer full day sessions (from 9am to 3:15pm) on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesday for a limited number of Butterfly children.  These afternoon will be mixed Butterfly and Caterpillar sessions.

EYPP Funding

Parents/Carers of children who meet certain criteria are able to claim EYPP (Early Years Pupil Premium) funding for their child.  This funding is paid directly to your child's childcare provider and is used to provide even more support for your child.  To find out if you meet the critera for EYPP Funding or to access the claim form, click here.

Parent Contributions

In order to bridge the gap between the funding we receive from the government and the cost of providing high quality childcare, we request a contribution each term from parents/carers of children who are eligible for government funding.  From September 2018 the amount requested will be £1 per session.
